What’s In Store In Grenada
Maybe some of you haven’t heard of this beautiful Southern Caribbean island but you should definitely put it on your “vacation wish list”. There was a time when it took an entire day or longer to get there but now with daily nonstop flights, it’s a breeze.
What To Do In Grenada?
Known as the “Spice Island” because spice plantations still thrive here, the food is wonderful.
They add nutmeg to things you would never imagine and the end result is delicious! Who would have thought that nutmeg ice cream would be so amazing – I describe it as French vanilla on steroids because it is so incredibly creamy and yummy.
This is a volcanic island so it is mountainous and lush with a large and beautiful rainforest where you can zip line along the forest canopy or trek along in a 4X4.
Make sure to visit some of their many beautiful waterfalls – the photo ops are fabulous. We will be sure to set you up with a knowledgeable tour guide who will plan the day out according to your interests.
You will walk away learning more than you had imagined because this island is full of history and culture.
We visited a family owned working spice and chocolate plantation that dates back for generations, and it was not only beautiful but also educational and fun.
How about an out of the ordinary snorkel or scuba dive? You won’t be able to resist exploring the underwater sculpture park located in Grenada. Aside from supporting the ocean’s environment it attracts a multitude of fish you’ll enjoy observing.
Where To Stay?
Accommodations can range from hillside rooms with views of the ocean and mountains to beachfront rooms steps from the sand. Expect to explore several beaches ranging from white to golden sand.
Resorts will not be sprawling huge rather they will be more midsized or intimate boutique style. The service will be personal and authentic just like everything on an island whose tag line is “Pure Grenada”.
