Last month we featured the quieter and lesser known side of this Hawaiian island. So now that you are all rested, today we sweep you away to where the action is. Let’s go!
Like all of Hawaii, even though Maui is exotic, there is no passport required and no language barrier to worry about.
Maui is considered to be one of the best islands in the Pacific as it has the most swimmable beaches in Hawaii as a whole. Add this to a combination of a lively downtown, lush mountains and waterfalls, this whole experience makes it the perfect blend of relaxation and activity.
With green-flanked mountains as the backdrop and sparkling deep blue colored seas in front of every luxury resort, there’s no doubt that this island will enchant you immediately.
Let’s look at what is unique to Maui
One of my favorites is Molokini crater. Just off the coast via a boat ride, it’s a perfect location for snorkelers and scuba divers.
We pre-arrange the excursion for you so that you only need to show up and then you are whisked away to this spectacular volcanic crater that attracts a multitude of sea life and coral. You’ll want to keep a look out for dolphins and sea turtles along the way!
Did you know that Maui is known for its lavender fields? They have a beautiful lavender farm you can visit where walking tours and a picnic lunch is offered. How romantic for a couple. But at the same time the lavender scent which is known for its relaxing qualities may just take the edge off families as the kids can run off some steam thru the fields of flowering lavender.
You may want to time your visit to Maui with their whale season. From December through March it wouldn’t be surprising to see whales from right outside your balcony! However, for guaranteed best results we can pre-arrange a whale watching boat tour. Booking that ocean front room makes more sense than ever – remember to pack your binoculars. These mammals are extraordinary to watch.
Did you know you can island hop to the sister island of Lanai for the day? It will take you back to old world charm where there are few inhabitants, one main road and a quaint little general store.
Where To Stay?
I’ll recommend the best accommodations to suit your needs and budget ranging from hotels to condos. But if you are looking for the newest resort on the island then look no further than the Andaz Maui at Wailea. Boasting 15 acres of beachfront property and 5 pools including a cascading infinity pool, the most difficult decision you may need to make is to choose a pool for the day.
Tip: Our hotel packages usually include breakfast at this hotel and the Breakfast Experience at their Ka’ana Kitchen is amazing. Try their mocha waffles; they are to die for.
With so much natural breathtaking beauty, beaches, volcanoes and activities available, it's no wonder Hawaii's eight major islands and islets are still the top Honeymoon destination and always popular for families of all ages and sizes.
Summer vacation is just around the corner and it is a popular time for the Hawaiian Islands so planning early is recommended.
Let’s get you to Maui and rejuvenate you with the warmth of Aloha!
I look forward to all we can plan for you in 2019. Our world is full of many amazing destinations and our goal is to get you there one at a time!
