Who doesn’t love sexy? And what makes a destination sexy? Typically it’s about the vibe and excitement that an island and its culture generates. And the gourmet food is always a draw because experiencing a fabulous luxurious dining experience in itself can be sensuous. While there is something to love about every island in the Caribbean, some are “extra hot” with an unmistakable pulsating quality. I’ve selected some of my favorite “sexy island” picks for your consideration.
Anguilla
The beaches here are truly gorgeous and the hotels and restaurants are chic and hip. While it is an upscale island favored by foodies, it is a sleepy island in which you can find true peace and enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets ever.
Antigua
With 365 beaches to choose from, sexy is literally all over this beautiful island. That means you will never find a crowd on the beach, just true peace and tranquility. Barbados

It is the fashion and people watching capital of the region. From the hip beach bars of St Jean to the shopping in Gustavia, this is a flashy destination that lives up to the hype.
Dominica
Some consider it to be the most beautiful island in the Caribbean. It is raw, it is green, it is exciting and it is still utterly undiscovered. It is well suited for the more traveled couple who is looking to go off the beaten path without having to venture too far from home.
Guadeloupe
Some call it mini St Barth, but this little gem in the Les Saintes archipelago of Guadeloupe has its own identity, marrying the tranquility of a French fishing village with a uniquely Gallic playfulness.
Martinique
It is often described as exotic. While lesser known by many US travelers, this French island is just stunning and is starting to gain recognition. Some call it the Bordeaux of the rum world. With the opening of new exciting restaurants, the island’s capital city of Fort-de-France is recently being referred to as the sexiest city in the Caribbean.
St Lucia
I can never say enough of this personal favorite of mine. The majestic Piton Mountains alone are sexy. And hotels that offer open air accommodations with unobstructed ocean views is something that few other Caribbean places can match.
