Lions, elephants, penguins, beaches and city nightlife…Oh my! Where else but South Africa allows you to experience them all in one vacation?! There is a reason why this country has been consistently voted as one of the top tourist destinations in the world for honeymoons and family vacations.

South Africa is a beautiful country full of many contrasts, colors, sights, experiences and history. A destination that will touch you in so many levels starting with wildlife safari viewing and continuing onto breathtaking sights along quaint coastal towns and cosmopolitan cities just to name a few.

Everyone who visits here must experience a safari in order to view the “Big Five”(lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos). Did you know that the highest rhino population is in South Africa? And Kruger National Park is an amazing game reserve where you can get up close to the wildlife while staying in some of the most luxurious tented camp lodges.

The country’s unique location situated between both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans is the most south-western point in the world, which means you will see some very diverse and breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Cape Town is a must-visit to see the majestic Table Mountain, explore fabulous Winelands, visit Cape of Good Hope where the two oceans meet and see the adorable penguins as they sunbathe along Boulders Beach. And who doesn’t love penguins?

Then there is Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. It is South Africa’s version of Alcatraz and a moving experience to visit it.
Of course a vacation to Cape Town is not complete without a visit to the bustling and hip Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, home to some pretty amazing restaurants and bars situated along the sea.
Ready for some beach time? You can do turtle and scuba trips along the coast, or for the more adventurous, try shark cave diving which is super popular here.

North of Cape Town you can visit Johannesburg, the biggest city and capital and home to the famous Apartheid Museum.

The warmth of the people in South Africa and the smiles they share will warm your heart as well. Take the time to visit a local village or spend a couple of hours visiting the children at a local school. You might find that hearing their stories and sharing experiences might be just as memorable as the sights you will see along the way.

We can arrange a local village immersion experience along with every aspect of your vacation. So whether you are a family or a honeymoon couple, visiting South Africa will be a vacation of a lifetime that I know you will never forget.
