Technology today will have you believe that with a swipe and a tap in your app you can conjure a magical honeymoon or vacation. You may in fact have a good time, but my clients know exactly what I’ve done for them and the exceptional service I provide. Let me show you one example of a memorable honeymoon…
Marissa and Dominick went to Rome, Capri and Sorrento (Amalfi Coast) for their honeymoon. I arranged all of their flights (first class), and booked their stays in lovely rooms at some of the most sought after hotels centrally located to all of the major sights.
I arranged all private car transfers with English speaking drivers, and assigned seats on their rail transportation from Rome to Naples. There they were met at the rail station by their personal driver who took them safely to the port where we had pre-arranged their sea transportation to Capri.
Marissa and Dominick were first time visitors to Italy, and were apprehensive about arriving in the Naples rail station, as they had heard of some reported safety issues for tourists. After researching other alternatives for them, I determined that the route I always recommend to clients would be their best option due to the value and positive experience my past clients and I have had with rail and car transfers to Naples and the Amalfi Coast.
They emailed me during their trip with questions of tourist safety and their concern about not being able to connect with their driver. I reassured them that all would go as planned, responded in a very timely fashion, and all went well.
I booked their tour of the Vatican so that they were able to skip the lines and have a professional guide take them to see the most famous works of art including Michelangelo’s’ frescoes at the Sistine Chapel, and his sculpture “La Pieta” at St. Peter’s Basilica – a truly beautiful and emotionally moving work of art to see in person; no comparison to viewing photos in the art history books.
With my Italy travel supplier contacts, they were treated to a complementary 3 course lunch at their beautiful 5 star hotel in Rome. I arranged dinner reservations at the Michelin hotel restaurant they had requested.
In Sorrento we arranged for their Pompeii tour that pointed out and explained all of the must see sights to avoid walking aimlessly and missing the best this area had to offer. Having a local guide makes a huge difference in appreciating the history of what the villagers endured during the devastation of the volcanic eruption that destroyed an entire town.
